One Member shall serve at the pleasure of the Council. May remove an incumbent and appoint a new representative by filing with the Chairman of the Commission a certified copy of the resolution to that effect. Also may appoint an alternate. Solid Waste Commission 28E Agreement.

Riverview Early Childhood Center Board:

Established when By-Laws for Riverview Early Childhood Center, 705 Odell Street Center were adopted by their board on July 31, 2001.  In December 2005 a City representative was requested.  The Board consists of: Representative of the City Government, Superintendent of the Webster City Community School District or a designee, with the intent that the Board of Directors be comprised of at least 50% parents of enrolled children.

Hamilton County Communication Service Advisory Board:

Twenty-Four Hour Communication Advisory Board was first established

in 1990 in a joint effort by Webster City and Hamilton County to provide

a 24-hour county-wide communication service for the residents of

 Hamilton County, enabling the use of the enhanced 911 emergency

 telephone communications system pursuant to Chapter 477 of the Iowa Code.

This agreement was amended and renewed in 1996.

An Advisory Board consisting of the Hamilton County Sheriff,

the Webster City Police Chief,

a member of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors,

a member of the Webster City City Council,

and a member of the E-9-1-1 Service Board was established

to review the operations of the system and make

recommendations to the parties as to any changes deemed necessary.
