Many Webster City permit applications can now be filled out online. These electronic forms are not actual permits. These forms should be used as worksheets to help gather the necessary information. This information will then be transferred at the discretion of the Inspection Department if a permit is to be issued. It might also be necessary for you to bring other required materials (noted in each form in red) with you to City Hall, where you will sign and complete the Permit Application. Alternatively, you may download and print the form and submit it to City Hall in person. After you submit a form, you will need to call or stop in to the Inspection Department to complete the process. The Inspection Department phone number is 515-832-9139. *Please note that for a Building Permit, a zoning inspection is necessary prior to the issuance of a permit. *A plan review may be necessary before a Building Permit can be issued.
